Workshop arranged for Pubali Bank officers

Pubali Bank Training Institute recently arranged a workshop titled Asset Liability Management for the officers of the bank at its head office. Managing Director of the Bank Helal Ahmed Chowdhury was present as the chief guest in the workshop, says a press release.
In his speech Mr Helal said asset liability management is nothing new in banking but one should have knowledge for proper asset liability management. He urged the officers to be more vigilant in grading asset liability and documentation relating to credit sanction and disbursement.
The managing director also advised all trainee officers to make sincere efforts to follow the asset liability guidelines of Bangladesh Bank strictly and analyse the loan portfolio properly for sanctioning advances.
Principal of the Training Institute of the bank Badridden Ahmed and faculty member DGM Sushi Kumar Paul were present in the workshop.
