Workshop manager wounded in gun attack in city

A manager of an engineering workshop was shot by armed miscreants at Dayaganj in the city's Sutrapur area Thursday, reports UNB.
Witnesses said four to five youths came to Aftab Engineering Workshop at about 4:30pm and fired on workshop manager Abdul Khalek, leaving him injured.
The attackers also blasted about five hand bombs as they were chased by local people during the attack.
Khalek, son of M Malek, was admitted to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
