WORKSHOP ON ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

The British Standards Institution (BSI) has organised a five-day 'Lead Auditor Training on Energy Management Systems (ISO 500001:2018)' in the capital. Director General (Grade-1) of the Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) SM Ferdous Alam was present as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony held at a hotel on Monday. Deputy Development Director of British High Commission Duncan Overfield was present as a special guest. Shaibal Gupta, a resource person from India, and Syed Anwar Hossain, project manager of 'UK-Bangladesh Standards Partnership Initiative Project'. were also present.
