Workshop on governance in agriculture dev held

GOPALGANJ, June 4: A daylong workshop on governance in agriculture development was recently held at Mohammadpara in Gopalganj town.
The workshop was organised by Southern Gonounnayan Samity (SGS) partnership project, and financed by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF).
SGS President Sardar Ahmed Nowsher Ali inaugurated the workshop, presided over by SGS Development Director Gouranga Maitra. SGS Project Coordinator SM Sajjad Ahmed was present on the occasion as the chief guest.
A number of journalists of different national dailies, electronic media and satellite television channels attended the workshop. The project is presently being implemented in three unions under Gopalganj Sadar Upazila, six unions under Kotalipara Upazila, and two unions under Tungipara Upazila.
