Workshop on 'Heat Treatment' at BUET

The five-day training workshop on 'Heat Treatment and Quality Assurance System' began at the Institute of Appropriate Technology (IAT) of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Sunday, reports BSS.
Organised by IAT on the occasion of 60th year of engineering education in Bangladesh, the workshop will end on August 23, said a press release.
A total of 36 owners, managers, entrepreneurs, technologists and engineers from different engineering companies are participating in the workshop.
The opening session of the workshop was chaired by M Kamal Uddin, director of IAT while M Sabder Ali, dean of faculty of engineering and Abdur Razzaque, President of Bangladesh Engineering Indus-tries Owners' Association were present on the occasion.
