Workshop on Hybrid rice held

GAZIPUR, June 22: A day-long workshop on "dissemination of hybrid rice technologies through effective public and private sectors' collaboration" was held Tuesday.
Hybrid Rice Project organised the workshop at the district's BRRI auditorium.
Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI) Director General Abdul Mannan presided over the workshop, while Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) Chairman SM Nazmul Islam, Director (Admin) AKG Md Enamul Haque and former director general of BRRI MA Hamid Mian were present on the occasion.
Dr Masuduzzaman presented key note paper at the workshop.
