Workshop on loan syndication begins

A two-day workshop on 'Loan Syndication' organised by Education Excellence, a consulting, education and communication firm, began at Spectra Convention Centre at Gulshan in the city Saturday.
Vice-chancellor of Northern University M Shamsul Haq inaugurated the workshop, said a press release.
Former chief of army staff Lt Gen (retd) M Harun-Ar-Rashid, Executive Director (currently on LPR) of Bangladesh Bank Nazmul Hasan, former deputy general manager of Bangladesh Bank Shaikh Shahdat Hossain and Education Excellence Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Samira Farhat Amin were present at the inaugural ceremony.
Senior bankers and experts on syndicated transactions will deliver lectures on loan syndication, syndicated loan-market, syndication techniques, role of lead managers, etc. in the workshop.
A total of 45 senior bankers from public and private sectors are attending the workshop.
