Workshop on loan syndication ends

A two-day workshop on 'Loan Syndication' organised by Education Excellence, a consulting, education and communication firm, ended in the capital on Sunday, said a press release.
A total of 46 senior bankers from public and private sectors working or intending to work in loan syndication and structured finance, entrepreneurs and industrialists took part in the workshop held at Spectra Convention Centre in Gulshan.
Senior bankers and experts on syndicated transactions delivered lectures on loan syndication, syndicated loan market, syndication techniques, role of lead managers in the workshop.
M Shamsul Haq, vice-chancellor of Northern University, and M Harun-Ar-Rashid, former chief of army staff, handed over certificates among the participants at the closing ceremony.
