Workshop on malaria held in Habiganj

HABIGANJ, Mar 12: A workshop on Malaria control was held at Sadar Adunik Hospital conference room in Habiganj Saturday. Brac arranged the programme. Member of the Parliament Advocate Md. Abu Jahir was present as chief guest. Civil surgeon Dr. Safiqur Rahman presided over the programme. Deputy commissioner Mahmud Hasan and police super Md. Zillur Rahman were present as special guests. Manager, Brac advocacy Md. Nazrul Islam delivered main presentation of the programme. Among others Advocate Ruhul Hasan Sharif, Firoj Mahmud, Manager-health programme Brac spoke on the occasion. A total of 40 journalists and officials joined the programme. District correspondent of BTV Md. Alamgir Khan conducted the function. At the presentation the speakers informed that, Malaria is under control by the Health Administration.
