Workshop on SME financing of Trust Bank held in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Mar 7: A workshop of Trust Bank on Financing Product Delivery and Lending Analysis (SME Financing) was held at Party Centre of the town Saturday. T.I.M. Rawshon Jadid, Head of SME Department, Trust Bank, Tanvir Hossain, Cluster Manager, Mahbub Hossain, Branch Manager of Rajshahi, officials of Rajshahi, Rangpur, Barisal and Khulna divisions and field staffs of these divisions attended the programme. Mahbub Hossain, Branch Manager of Rajshahi informed the FE that Trust Bank started to disburse SME loan from December-22 last year. Already it has disbursed Tk 35 million from Rajshahi Branch and disbursement of Tk 16 million is under process. Main theme of the workshop was to help the semi-urban and rural people who are already doing their small and cottage businesses and want to develop their businesses as well as their economic condition. Discussants at the workshop advised the staffs and officials to expedite disbursement of short and medium term loan.
