Workshop on supply chain management held at RUET

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, June 1: A national workshop on 'Supply Chain Management' was held at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) campus, a press release said.
RUET Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohammed Rafiqul Islam Beg, inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest at the university central auditorium yesterday afternoon.
In the workshop the speakers emphasised on the issues of project management, supply chain management, and how to prepare an engineer himself for the job market.
Industrial Production Engineering (IPE) department organised the programme. Md. Alamgir Hossain, procurement manager of Unilever Bangladesh Limited, Sajedul Karim and Tanmoy Das were present as the resource persons.
Prof. Nirendra Nath, Dean of Mechanical Engineering faculty, students welfare advisor Dr. NHM Quamruzzaman Sarker, and IPE department head Prof. Md. Mosharaf Hossain were also present at the workshop.
