Workshop on urban brown field at BUET today

A six day workshop on "Regeneration of Urban Brown Field Hazaribagh" jointly organised by Bangladesh University of Engineering University and Technology (BUET) and Kyushu University, Japan will start today (Sunday).
The workshop will begin at 3:00 pm at the seminar room of ARI Bhaban, BUET, according to a press release.
Prof Shaheda Rahman, dean of the faculty of Architecture and Planning of BUET, will act as convener of the workshop.
About 50 graduate and post graduate students and 20 teachers will participate in the workshop.
The workshop outcomes are expected to be shared with the government policy makers and concerned agencies for informed actions and decision making.
Prof Dr Md Abdul Jalil, department of civil engineering, Prof Dr Farida Nilufar, department of architecture and Prof Shakil Akther, department of URP from BUET will coordinate the workshop, the release added.
