GAIBANDHA, June 24 (BSS): Speakers at a workshop here recently stressed the need for standing beside the trafficked victims aimed at rehabilitating them in society to lead their lives smoothly.
"Many men particularly the youths, in the cheat of the brokers, go to abroad selling their property in the hope of changing their economical conditions within short time but they are victims to human trafficking and their sorrows know no bound", they said.
They came up with the comments while addressing a concluding ceremony of two-day long workshop for the journalists on' Protecting Victims of Human Trafficking' held here.
Sinnomul Mohila Samity (SMS), a non-governmental organisation, organised the workshop under the project of Protecting Victims of Human Trafficking in Bangladesh with the financial support of Relief International.
