Workshops on public procurement

A day-long workshop on public procurement and other relevant issues will be held at the Circuit House auditorium in Netrakona today (Wednesday) while another at the Zilla Parishad auditorium in Mymensingh tomorrow (Thursday), reports UNB.
The advocacy workshops titled 'Future Search Conference (FSC)' under the Public Procurement Reform Project-II (PPRP-II) will be organised by the Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU) of the IMED under the Ministry of Planning.
Bangladesh Centre for Communication Programmes (BCCP) will conduct the workshops on behalf of CPTU.
The deputy commissioners of the respective districts will preside over the programmes.
CPTU is implementing the PPRP-II with support from the World Bank under which the advocacy workshops are being held across the country to raise awareness among the stakeholders.
So far, 16 such workshops have been organised.
