World AIDS Day today

The World AIDS Day will be observed across the country as elsewhere in the world today (Wednesday), reports BSS.
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has chalked out an elaborate programme to observe the day in a befitting manner.
Different socio-cultural organisations have also taken separate programmes alongside the government to mark the day.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr AFM Ruhal Haque will address a seminar on "Universal Access and Human Rights" at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) at 10:30am today as part of the programme.
To create mass awareness about the deadly disease, a colourful rally will be brought out from Manik Miah Avenue in front of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban at 8:30am.
President M Zillur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina issued separate messages on the eve of the day.
