World Bank team holds talks with Agrani Bank MD

A visiting delegation of World Bank led by Senior Adviser (Financial
System Development) Robert Kahn called on the management of Agrani Bank Limited at its head office in the city recently.
The delegation held talks with Agrani Bank Managing Director (current charge) Syed Abdul Hamid and Deputy Managing Director Md Fayekuzzaman, said a press release.
World Bank Senior Financial Sector Specialist Varsha Marathe Dayal and Member James a Hanson, and general managers and other concerned officials of Agrani Bank were also present on the occasion.
Mr Abdul Hamid warmly felicitated the World Bank team and made a briefing to them over the financial results of the bank for the year 2008-09.
The World Bank team expressed satisfaction about Agrani Bank's recent achievements and appreciated their efforts to meet their business target set for the year 2008-09.
