With after-sale 10 years' warranty for the first time ever, China's top-brand 'Haojue Cool Bike' hit Bangladesh market.
Karnaphuli group, one of the oldest business conglomerates in the country, launched their state-of-the-art merchandise Haojue at an inaugural ceremony, attended by the media, distributors as well as bikers, at a city hotel Monday.
Executive Director of Karnaphuli Nurul Mostofa said it is noteworthy that the group has been leading the way of versatile ventures since 1954 and has come in a long way over the past 58 years growing into a business house of diversified subsidiaries and activities.
"This growth has been characterized by a single-minded and dedicated pursuit of excellence and a professional urge to be the market leader in everything it is involved and engaged in," the ED told the function.
Consequently, he added, Karnaphuli will merchandise Haojue motorcycle this time with a 10-year after-sale service warranty that no one had ever experienced in this industry in Bangladesh.
Senior General Manager of Karnaphuli Industries Ltd SM Nuruzzaman said Haojue is the number-one-brand motorcycle in China since 2003.
He said Haojue Holdings, the manufacturer of Haojue, is also the manufacturer of Suzuki motorcycle and exporting this brand to 70 countries, including the European countries, the USA, Australia and Japan.
The bike is capable of running over 50 kilometers on just one litre of fuel. It is offered with an attractive price in comparison to other 150cc bikes available on the market, he added.
The first 500 buyers would enjoy the privilege of purchasing the Houjue at Tk 150,000 which would sell on the market at a price of Tk 165,000.
