World disabled Day observed

BOGRA, Dec 6: To create awareness among the people about the problems of disabled persons the 'World Disable Day' was observed at Bogra Tuesday. District Social Welfare office took an elaborate programme to mark the day.
A discussion meeting was held at Bogra Shilpakala Academy as a part of programme. Humayan Kabir, deputy commissioner (DC) of Bogra was present on the occasion as the chief guest while Ali Reza Majid, ADM of Bogra was the special guest. The meeting was presided over by Harun-ur-Rashid, deputy director of Social Welfare Department.
The discussion was followed by a cultural show staged by the disabled. A colourful rally was also brought out to mark the day.
