World Ozone Day today

The World Ozone Day will be celebrated in the country through various programmes like elsewhere in the world, reports BSS.
The theme of the day for this year is "30 Years of Healing the Ozone Together." The theme commemorates the adoption of Vienna Convention 30 years ago in 1985.
The slogan in favour of this theme is "Ozone: All There is Between you and UV." On the eve of World Ozone Day 2015, President Md Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave separate messages wishing success of the day.
The President and the Prime Minister urged all to create awareness for protecting ozone layer to save environment.
