Wounded AL man dies in Jessore

JESSORE, Feb 28 (UNB): An Awami League (AL) activist, who received
injuries in an attack allegedly by BNP men at a polling station in
Chaugachha upazila during Thursday's upazila election, died at Dhaka
Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Fazlur Rahman, 52, an activist of the Pativila union unit of the ruling AL and a resident of Debipur village in the upazila.
At one stage, both the groups attacked each other, leaving five people injured.
Of the injured, Fazlur Rahman and Jahurul Islam were rushed to Chaugachha Upazila Health Complex.
