Writ against legal practice by MPs

A writ petition seeking an end to legal practice by Supreme Court (SC) lawyers after they become members of parliament (MPs) was filed on Sunday. Dr. Yunus Ali Akand, a lawyer of the SC, filed the petition, which will be placed today for hearing before the bench comprising Justice Sheikh Hasan Arif and Justice Md. Nazrul Islam. — BSS
