Writ challenges drive against tinted glasses

A writ petition was filed with the High Court on Wednesday challenging the legality of police drive against tinted glasses in vehicles.
Advocate Manzill Morshed filed the writ petition on behalf of Supreme Court lawyers Asaduzzaman Siddique and Eklas Uddin.
The bench of Justice Mirza Hussain Haider and Justice Muhammad Khurshid Alam Sarker fixed Sunday for hearing.
In the wake of growing incidents of abduction across the country, the Home Ministry on April 30 issued a circular banning the use of black/colorful/non-transparent/mercury glasses in all modes of vehicle, according to UNB.
