Writ filed for introducing Bangla in all spheres of life

A writ petition was filed with the High Court (HC) on Sunday seeking the launch of Bangla language in all spheres of life. Supreme Court lawyer Yunus Ali Akand filed the petition. He said the writ petition was filed for implementing the Bangla Language Introduction Act, 1987. The hearing on the petition will be held at the joint bench of justices Rezaul Haq and ABM Altaf Hossain on Monday, according to UNB.
