Wärtsilä President & CEO due Monday

Björn Rosengren, President & Chief Executive Officer of Wärtsilä Corporation, will arrive in Dhaka on Monday on a two-day visit. Wärtsilä’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr Marco Wiren, and President of Power Plants and Executive Vice President, Mr Rakesh Sarin also accompanying Mr. Rosengren during this visit. Mr Rosengren and the Wärtsilä executive team will be meeting with key customers and stakeholders in the country’s energy sector during this visit. Hailing from Finland, Wärtsilä started its activities in Bangladesh in the early nineties. Today, Wärtsilä's main business activities in the country are Power Plant sales, Ship Power sales and supporting Services. In Bangladesh, Wärtsilä’s total installed power generation capacity is more than 2000 MW. Wärtsilä is a global leader in complete lifecycle power solutions for the marine and energy markets. Wärtsilä has operations at 200 locations in 70 countries around the world, said a press release.
