Yaba, the destroyer

Wednesday, 17 January 2018

YABA is a combination of powerful and addictive stimulant and caffeine. Yaba, which means crazy medicine in Thai, is produced in Southeast and East Asia. They are candy like tablets that come in different flavours and bright colours. Users typically heat the tablet, which sits on aluminum foil, and then inhale the vapours from the melting tablets. Others crush the tablets into powder and sniff them.
Yaba, the deadly addiction, has spread alarmingly around the country particularly among the youth community. Law enforcing agencies of the country often come down hard on Yaba traders and arrest them. But sadly the front liners of Yaba business cannot be held by the law enforcers and they continue unabated with the illegal drug trade. If the big traders are not apprehended, it will not be possible for anybody to stop the business of innocuous looking Yaba tablets which is highly profitable and therefore lucrative. The government must toughen up the law enforcers so that they can destroy the menacing Yaba trade. It is reported that Yaba came originally from Myanmar where it was prescribed for horses so that they can pull carts up steep hills. We cannot let our humans have it and die an unnatural and tragic death.
