Yet another warrant issued against Latif

Another court has issued a warrant for arrest of recently-sacked telecom minister Abdul Latif Siddiqui in a case filed over his rant on Holy Hajj that hurt the sentiments of Muslims. The Sirajganj Cognizance Court-6 issued the arrest warrant after freedom fighter (FF) Ainul Haque, legal secretary of the district unit of Islami Andolon, Bangladesh, filed a case in it on Tuesday afternoon. Senior Judicial Magistrate, Sirajganj, Rubina Parvin took the complaint into cognizance and passed the order, according to a news agency.
