YKK's sanitation programme

World famous Japanese zipper manufacturer YKK Bangladesh constructed a hygienic toilet at a school as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), said a Press release.
Anowara Hasem Memorial High School in Kalihati Upazola of Tangail district had only one toilet for 500 students, teachers and staff. As it is insufficient and unhygienic, YKK Bangladesh initiated to build hygienic sanitation for the school.
The toilet was inaugurated by managing director of YKK Bangladesh Mr. Hiroaki Nakamura on November 4. The toilet has separate facility for the boys and girls students.
The YKK management confirms that such types of sanitation will be built in future by the company. Among others, vice president of the company Mr. Ryuji Dodo, Head of HR Masud Karim and Planning Manager Rasel Mahmud were present on the occasion.
