Young man dies in city crash

A young man was killed in a road accident at DOHS under Cantonment Police Station in the city on Sunday. Two other people were also injured in the motorbike accident. The dead is Shamim, 19, son of Abdus Sobahan, hailed from Amtali Upazila of Barguna district. Witnesses and his family members said an unknown private car rammed motorbike rider Shamim when he along with his two friends were passing the spot by a bike around 12:30am, leaving the three injured. They were rushed to a private hospital at Gulshan and shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where Shamim died under treatment in the morning, according to a news agency.
