Young man electrocuted in city

A youth died from electrocution at a restaurant in Dhaka's Tejgaon area on Sunday. The dead is Md Delwar Hossain, 22, a waiter in a hotel. Staff of the residential hotel-cum-restaurant said Delwar was repairing a damaged power cable on the rooftop of the hotel around 12noon. The power cable was leak and he received electric shock and fainted. He was rescued and rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the doctor declared him dead around 1:00pm, according to a news agency.
