Young man killed in Ctg road crash

A young man has been killed in a road accident in Sadarghat area in Chittagong city. The deceased was identified as Shahed Mallik, 26, an employee of ‘4H Group’. Police and local sources said a covered-van ran over Shahed in Majhirghat area under the port city’s Sadarghat Police Station, leaving him injured. Police outpost sources at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) said he was critically injured after a covered-van ran over him in Majhirghat area while he was crossing the road. He was rushed to the CMCH where on-duty doctor declared him dead, the sources said, according to a news agency.
