Young man killed in Jessore

JESSORE, Sept 13: A young man was hacked to death by unknown assassins at Naranpur under Sadar Upazila in the district Friday night.
The deceased was identified as Saraj Kumar, 20, son of Jogen Kumar of village Barmanpara under Sadar Upazila in the district.
The police recovered the body from a field and sent it to the morgue for autopsy.
In this connection, the police also arrested six persons - Amio, Shimanto, Sujan, Ramesh, Shukh Dev and Babu, all locals.
The reason behind the killing could not be known immediately but police were interrogating the arrested persons.
