Young man, woman killed in Sirajganj

Some miscreants killed a young man and a woman and dumped their bodies in separate places in Sirajganj districts at sometimes on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha. Police said they recovered the decomposed body of the slain young man from the bank of Jamuna River near Khidramatia area in Belchuchi Upazila on Saturday noon and that of the young woman from a garden near the eco-park situated in the west side of Bangabandhu (Jamuna) Bridge. Police suspected that miscreants might have killed the young man, wearing half pant and black T-shirt, few days back. Bangabandhu Bridge west side police station’s officer-in-charge said the girl might have been killed 10-12 days back. However, police could not confirm whether the man and the woman were killed by the same assailants. The bodies were sent to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Separate cases were filed, according to a news agency.
