Youngman dies after stabbing mother

KHULNA, May 18: A Youngman, Fuad Khondoker (27), died of heart attack after stabbing his mother, nephew and maidservant at his house at Khalishpur of the city on Tuesday. Police said that Fuad asked his mother Monju Begum (50) for food at noon. He became wild for the delay in getting food. At one stage he stabbed his nephew Shagor (10) in his belly and when his mother came forward to save him she also stabbed her by knife. At that moment maidservant Lucky (16) also advanced and got stabbed. After stabbing them Fuad entered into his room and shut the door from inside. Later local people recovered him in an unconsciousness condition and rushed him to Khalishpur Clinic where the doctor declared him dead. His mother Monju Begum said he was mentally abnormal for a long time. The injured mother and others were given first aid. Body recovered Another report adds: Police recovered a deadbody from a shrimp farm of Kaloroa of Satkhira district on Tuesday noon. The deceased was identified as Tajul Islam Sarder (60) a retired Dafadar (chief of village guards) of village Batra of Kaloroa upozila. Police and local source said that Tajul, son of late Sukur Ali Sarder, was missing for last three days from his house. On Tuesday morning, local people found him dead in a gher at Singlal of Jalalabad of the same upazila. On being informed police went to the spot and recovered the body.
