Youth beaten to death in Magura

MAGURA, May 4 (UNB): A youth was beaten to death by his rivals at Piadapara village in Mohammadpur upazila on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Mohon Mollah, 30, son of Sadek Hossain Mollah of the village.
Quoting local people, officer-in-charge of Mohammadpur Police Station Monirul Islam said Mohon did not return home since some youths picked him up from road blaming him for theft on Thursday.
Local people found the hanging body of Mohon in the kitchen of the house local Awami League leader Salam Mollah on Saturday morning and informed police.
