Youth chopped to death over playing carom

CHUADANGA, Oct 2 (UNB): A young man was chopped to death by his co-players over playing carrom at Senerhuda village in Jibannagar upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Arif Hossain,24, son of Ajijor Box of the village.
Witnesses said Arif had an altercation with some young boys over playing carrom in the village at night.
At one stage, a man named Tota attacked Arif and chopped him with a hasua (chopper) indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured.
Arif died on the way to Jibannagar Upzila Health Complex.
Officer-in-charge of Jibannagar Police StationĀ arrest the people involved in the killing.
