Youth dies from electrocution in Thakurgaon

A young man died from electrocution in Thakurgaon on Wednesday night. The dead is Kantes Roy, 21, a final year diploma engineering student of a polytechnic institute and son of Debendra Nath, a resident of Amhar village of Dinajpur district. He used to live in a student mess in Munsirhat area in Thakurgaon town. Locals said Kantes came in contact with a bare and live power cable at the mess out of carelessness at night. His roommates took him to Adhunik Sadar Hospital where on-duty doctor declared him dead, according to a news agency.
