Youth dies in city building fall

A young man was killed as he reportedly fell down while climbing up a six-storey building in the city’s Basabo area on Monday. The deceased was identified as Neaz Morshed, 32. Details about the deceased could not be known yet. Police said locals found Morshed lying under the building near Basabo Balurmath with multiple injuries at about 3:30 am. Some residents of the area woke up hearing the sound of a fallen object. They rushed out of their houses only to see Morshed lying on the ground critically injured. On information, police rushed in and took Morshed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at about 8:45 am, DMCH sources said, according to UNB.
