Youth drowns in Jamuna

A young man drowned in the Jamuna River in Shashaghat area of Sirajganj district on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Habibur Rahman, 27, a resident of Goyla of the municipality area. Witnesses said Habibur went to the river adjacent to Shashaghat area to take bath at about 3:00pm and at one stage, he slipped deep into the river and drowned, according to UNB.
