Youth drowns in Jamuna river

SIRAJGANJ, Oct 22 (UNB): A young man drowned in the Jamuna River in Shashaghat area of Sirajganj Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Habibur Rahman,27, a resident of Goyla of the municipality area.
Witnesses said Habibur went to the river adjacent to Shashaghat area to take bath at about 3:00 pm and at one stage, he slipped deep into the river and drowned. Later, local people after a frantic search recovered the floating body of Habibur from the river in the evening.
