Youth electrocuted in Rajshahi

A young man died from electrocution at Kartikpara village at Puthia upazila in Rajshahi district on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Mojam alias Moja, 30, son of Akbar Ali, a resident of Badopara village of the upazila. Devid Himadri Barma, sub-inspector of Puthia Police Station, said Moja was severely injured as he came in contact with a snapped electric wire while connecting an electric cable in the area in the afternoon. He was rushed to Puthia Upazila Health Complex where on-duty doctor declared him dead, according to UNB.
