Youth electrocuted while hanging Argentina flag

A young man died from electrocution while trying to hang Argentina's national flag on a two-storey building in Dakkhin Jatrabari area in the city on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Sajal, 22, worker of a surgical equipment workshop in the area and son of Abdul Jabaar. Witnesses said Sajal, a fan of Argentine football team, fell from the terrace of a 2-storey building when he came in contact with a live electric wire while trying to hang an Argentine flag ahead of the FIFA World Cup tournament 2014. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead around 11:30am, DMCH Police camp in-charge Inspector Mozammel Haque said, according to a news agency.
