Youth found dead in Rajshahi

Police recovered the body of a youth from a ditch at Dangachhi village under Bagmara upazila in Rajshahi district on Tuesday night. The dead is Shaon Ahmed, 18, son of Abu Bakkar Sidiqqui of Deula village of the upazila. Victim’s father said Shawon remained missing after he had left home on Monday. Abu Obaida Khan, officer-in-charge of Bagmara Police Station, said local people spotted Shaon’s body floating in the water-filled ditch on Tuesday night and informed police. Later, police recovered the body and sent it to a local hospital for autopsy, according to UNB.
