Youth held with 32gm heroin in Magura

MAGURA, Aug 23 (UNB): Police in a drive arrested a young man along with 32 grams of heroin from a bus on the Magura-Jessore road in Arpara area of Shalikha upazila Saturday evening. The arrestee was identified as Faruk Ahmed, 32,son of Akbar Ali, hailing from Mohadebpur village in Satkhira district.
On secret information, police conducted a search in a Dhaka-bound bus in the area in the evening and recovered 32 grams of heroin worth TK3 lakh from Faruk, said Abu Zihad, officer-in-charge of Shalikha police station.
