Youth held with Yaba tablets in Dohar

Police in a drive arrested a young man along with 51 pieces of Yaba tablets from Malikanda village in Dohar upazila of Dhaka on Thursday night. The deceased was identified as Nahid Hossain, 25, son of Shahidul Hossain of the village. Mahmudul Haque, officer-in-charge of Dohar Police Station said, acting on secret information, a team of police arrested Nahid and recovered 51 pieces of Yaba tablets after searing his body in the night. Nahid had long been involved in selling Yaba, said the OC. A case was filed under the Narcotics Control Act, according to a news agency.
