Youth jailed for sexual harassment in N\\\'ganj

A mobile court convicted and sentenced a young man to six months’ imprisonment for sexually harassing a schoolgirl in Fatullah Pilot School area of Narayanganj Sadar Upazila on Wednesday. The convict was identified as Monir Hossain, 22, son of late Mokhles Mollah and a garments factory worker. Monir used to tease a female student of Fatullah Pilot School on her way to and from school. He slapped the girl as she protested his indecent gesture in the morning, said Belal Hossain, additional superintendent of police, Fatullah Model Police Station. Monir was caught red-handed by the locals and handed over to police. Later police produced him before the mobile court, led by Gausul Azam, Upazila nirbahi officer, which sentenced him to six months’ imprisonment, according to UNB.
