Youth killed in Magura crash

A young man was killed in a road accident at Magura Sadar Uazila on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Sohel, 20, son of Sarwar Hossain of Falia village. Magura Police Station officer-in-charge Jahangir Alam said Sohel was returning home from Magura town on a Nasimon (battery driven auto-rickshaw) and that Nasimon was hit in the back by a pickup van at Itkhola around 10:00pm on Tuesday. Sohel died on the spot while three other passengers received serious injuries. The injured were taken to Magura Sadar Hospital, according to UNB.
