Youth killed over eve-teasing protest

A youth was beaten to death by some stalkers for protesting eve-teasing in the city's Bhashantek area early on Saturday. The victim was identified as M Nasir Hossain, 25, son of late Abdul Matin Sarker, a resident of 93/1 Bhashantek. A gang of 12 to 15 local criminals beat him in Goltek area on Friday night while he was returning home, police and family sources said. He later succumbed to his injuries around 1.30 am. — BSS
