Youth murdered in city

Some miscreants slaughtered a youth in the city at sometime between Wednesday and early Thursday. Locals found the throat-slit body of Masudur Rahman Rubel, 19, in an abandoned house in Dakkhingaon Katherpool area under Sabujbagh Police Station around 5:00am on Thursday and informed. Police recovered the body of Rubel, son of Mokhlesur Rahman Bullet, a resident of Sabujbag Buddha Mandir area, and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy. The reason behind the murder could not be known immediately, according to a news agency.
