Youth run over by bus in city

A youth was run over by a bus in the city's Mohammadpur area Monday morning. The deceased was identified as Arif (18), son of Falu Mia, of Sultanganj in Rayer Bazar. Local sources said the speeding bus ran over Arif when he was crossing the road near Asad Gate at about 7:00 am, leaving him critically injured. Arif was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he died at 9:00 am.
