Youth shot dead in Gazipur

GAZIPUR, Oct 20 (UNB): A young man was killed during a gunfight between two groups of criminals allegedly over drug and dish trade at Mill Gate Namapara under Tongi Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Shahadat Hossain Rony (26), son of Mujibur Rahman of Baroikhali village under Srinagar Upazila of Munshiganj.
Locals said the criminals locked into the gun battle at Namapara Bazar at 8:00 pm Saturday when gunshots were exchanged and several crude bombs exploded.
